Scholarships for Bachelor’s and Associate’s Degrees are available through the Global Korea Scholarships for Undergraduate Degrees 2022 program. Students from around the world can apply for this international scholarship programme. More than 150 countries are represented among the 220 scholarships offered by the Korean government. The 2022 GKS was the previous name for the Korean Government Scholarship Program (GKS) (KGSP).

Eligibility Criteria of the Global Korea Scholarship GKS-U 2022?
Citizens of the Global Korea Scholarship partner countries are required to apply.
The candidate cannot be a dual or Korean citizen.
Applicants for either a bachelor’s or an associate degree must have graduated from high school or be expected to do so by February 28, 2022.
No associate degree or the expected graduation date of February 28, 2022, can apply for the bachelor’s degree.
To be eligible, applicants must be under the age of 25.
Candidates must be in good physical condition.
For the scholarship to remain in effect, the student must maintain a 3.0 GPA.
For the years 2022-2023, U GKS requires the following documents:
- Form 1 of the Application.
- Form 2: Statement of Purpose.
- Plan of Study for Form 3.
- Form 4 is a single letter of recommendation that the recommender must sign.
- GKS 5th Form. Consent from the applicant.
- Medical Questionnaire Form 6 Personal Health Questionnaire.
- A copy of the applicant’s government-issued identification card, a diploma, or transcript from high school (or expected one).
- Transcripts from the last four years of high school.
- Document proving the age of the applicant.
- Proof of the existence of the descendants of Korean War veterans (if relevant).
- A formal proof is needed by a Korean expatriate (if applicable).
- A renunciation of Korean nationality certificate (if applicable).
- Certificates of recognition (if necessary).
- Passport Copy of the Applicant.
- Certificate of proficiency in Korean, only TOPIK score required (optional).
- TOEFL, IELTS, or an equivalent English proficiency certificate (optional).
